I spent basically all weekend doing volunteer things for RHR, and one of those things was photographing two of the litters of puppies we have now.
I feel compelled to share some EGGciting news from the home front.
Today, one of my 24 week + 5 day old pullets laid their (and my!) very first egg. I nearly cried and then I terrified my SO when I ran up to the house screaming.
Without further ado, here's a couple of iPhone photos of the most perfect egg ever. :)
Tonight, I photographed three of the adoptable Rottweilers of RHR.. Allie, Jewel & Small Fry.
While I was at their foster dad's house, we grabbed a few shots of his personal dogs.
This is Ellie. She is allegedly a pit bull, but I think she's probably part Jumping Bean. This gal does not believe in being stationary and prefers to spend her time airborne. :)
Let me tell you a little love story for my first blog.
Once upon a time, there was a beautiful woman named Kory. Kory had everything going for her, but she was sad to have recently lost her loyal canine companion.
But Kory still had her faithful feline friend to care for, so off to a local pet store she went to make sure her kitty was well fed. Little did Kory know, her life would change upon entering that store.
You see, Rottweiler Hearts Rescue was at that same store at that same time with a young male Rottweiler named Bear, who had recently been taken in by the rescue.
Kory walked into the store and saw Bear, and it was love at first sight. She instantly knew that he was The One, and an adoption application fee was placed before she even walked out of the store. Kory left with not only her cat's food, but a new leash for her new leading man. Just a few short days later, Bear was home, living the life with his new kitty friend and Kory.
And they all lived happily ever after.
